Guam EPSCoR’s Guam Ecosystems Collaboratorium is seeking proposals from junior faculty members of the University of Guam for seed funding grant opportunities. Applicants should submit a one-page proposal, timeline for planning and research, and budget breakdown no later than February 18, 2019 (1700H Chamorro Standard Time). Guam EPSCoR seeks to increase the number and diversity of students who choose Science Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers by engaging students in its Student Research Experience Program (SRE), applications for which are now available. EPSCoR students in SRE Program may participate in field and lab studies that document coral reef ecosystems—with emphasis in EPSCoR’s two major research areas: coral genetics and oceanography.
