From Columbus to Long Beach: A SACNAS Recap
As the record number UOG delegation prepares to head out to this year’s National Diversity in STEM (NDiSTEM) Conference in Long Beach, California, let’s take a look back at moments from last year’s conference in Columbus, Ohio.
The delegation comprised of student researchers and staff funded Guam NSF EPSCoR, NSF INCLUDES, and Navigating Home.
This year’s delegation, comprising of almost 70 student participants, includes a mix of students and staff funded by the three returning grants as well as Alfred P. Sloan Grant, Next-Gen COMPASS, and Pacific Northwest Laboratory.
Interested in attending next year’s SACNAS NDiSTEM Conference in Kansas City, Missouri? Applications for the 2027 Guam NSF EPSCoR E-CORE Student Research Experience (SRE) are open until November 3, with a notification of acceptance by November 25.
