History Made: UOG Prepares for NDiSTEM 2026
With nearly 70 confirmed student participants plus faculty and staff, the University of Guam will be sending a record number delegation to the 2026 National Diversity in STEM Conference (NDiSTEM) hosted by the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), taking place this October in Long Beach, California.
This marks the biggest delegation UOG has taken to the conference in its nine-year history of attending.
This year’s delegation consists of students, faculty, and researchers who represent and are supported by numerous grant funders. These include Guam NSF EPSCoR E-CORE, NSF INCLUDES, Navigating Home, Alfred P. Sloan Grant, Next-Gen COMPASS, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
